| Description | Darrell Figgis author, journalist and Sinn Fein Politician, at his typewriter, early 1920s. He was aboard 'the Asgard' that brought arms to the Irish Volunteers in 1914. As an author, Figgis sometimes went by the pen-name Michael Ireland. Figgis was Secretary of Sinn Féin from 1917-1919. He committed suicide in 1925. | |
