Members of the cast and production crew of the variety show 'Musicale' on the tarmac at Dublin Airport about to board an Aer Lingus flight to Spain on 4 April 1963. Each show in this series visited a different country. A cameraman and possibly a soundman are visible in the foreground, filming members of the all-male pop group 'The Four Ambassadors' and the all-female 'The Cabaret Dancers' who participated in this programme, as they prepare to board the plane. The programme was broadcast on 17 April 1963. Two suited men, possibly members of 'The Four Ambassadors', are carrying a trunk. A hooded figure is visible to the left (possibly series producer Anne Makower). The airplane they are about to board is an Aer Lingus Boeing jet; the words 'IRISH INTERNATIONAL AER LINGUS' are printed on the side. This plane is called the St. Brigid. The shamrock logo is also clearly visible.
