Dr David Thornley, presenter of RTÉ Television's current affairs programme '7 Days', in 1967. This shot was taken at Trinity College Dublin. David Thornley worked in current affairs in RTÉ, presenting '7 Days' among other programmes, from 1966-69. He was elected to Dáil Éireann as a Labour Party TD for the constituency of Dublin North-West in 1969 and retained his seat in the 1973 general election. He was defeated in the 1977 general election. |
