A group shot of The Bachelors pop group. They are performing on 'Nightlife', a television variety programme broadcast on St. Stephen's Day 1968. There were three male musicians in this group; in this shot two of them are playing guitars (which are only partially visible) and the third, on the right of shot, is playing the double bass. All three are singing into two microphones in front of them. They are all wearing suits and ties. 'Nightlife' was a fortnightly variety series, presented by Terry Wogan and produced by Burt Budin. The RTE Guide published a preview of the entire series, written by Budin, on 15 November 1968. |
