| Description |
One of the models on the catwalk for the second annual 'Eurofashion' competition on 7 January 1969. This was a competition to select the young Irish designer of the year, who then went on to represent Ireland at the European finals which were held in Helsinki that same year. The national competition took place in the ballroom of the Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin and was televised live by RTÉ. This is a full-length portrait shot of a female model, with her hands on her hips, who is wearing a long skirt with a top. Over this she is wearing a very light three-quarter length jacket with wide sleeves. Details on the participants can be found in the RTÉ Guide of 3 January 1969. |
