Description | RTE cameraman Godfrey Graham (left) and producer Bill Skinner setting up a shot for a feature on the preparations for the Wexford Festival Opera in 1969. The item was broadcast on the television arts series 'Anthology' on 12 January 1970. In this shot Graham is bent over his film camera adjusting the lens and looking to the right of shot. Skinner is standing right beside him, pointing in the same direction. Both men are standing in the left foreground. A table with what could be some film or broadcasting items on it, is partly visible in the right foreground. Three people are seated behind a table in the right background which appears to have sheet music on it. The man nearest to camera has his arm raised. Four others (three men and one woman) are seated opposite them. They are probably at the rehearsals for one of the operas performed in Wexford that year. James Wilson's Twelfth Night was given its world premiere at the festival by the Irish National Opera in 1969. | |
