Description |
Broadcaster and journalist Michael Viney presents the four-part RTÉ Television series on metrication and decimalisation, 'Living By Tens', in 1969. Objects on the desk include a bottle of milk, a glass, a water jug and metallic looking weights of various sizes. Michael Viney was a journalist with 'The Irish Times' in the 1960s before moving to RTÉ as a presenter, and subsequently training as a director. 'Living By Tens' was broadcast in December 1969. |
