Irish novelist Edna O'Brien is interviewed by Niall Sheridan in late 1969 for the RTÉ Television series 'Writer in Profile', broadcast on 25 March 1970. Edna O'Brien published her first novel 'The Country Girls' in 1960 to considerable controversy. She has published many novels and short stories since then including 'Down by the River' (1997) and 'In the Forest' (2002). |
