A view of part of the set used in the television programme 'Down at Flannery's' in 1963. The set depicts a pub - a shelf filled with bottles and a counter with a beer tap attached to it are visible. 'Down at Flannery's' was an RTE light entertainment production, which combined ballad singing and traditional music with the day to day happenings in a fictional Irish village, Ballybeckett. It was written by Carolyn Swift, produced by Bill Skinner and first screened on 10 July 1963. |
