Irish folk singer Jim McCann, performing on 'Capital Folk' during programme recording in the Old Shieling Hotel, Raheny, County Dublin, in early 1972. 'Capital Folk' was a co-production between RTÉ Television and BBC Scotland. The first episode in the series was broadcast on 16 February 1972; this edition of the show was broadcast on 18 April 1972. Stills from this shoot accompanied an RTÉ Guide preview published on 11 February 1972. A further Guide article about the programme was published on 17 March 1972. |
