Swiss theologian Hans Küng in RTÉ's Presentation B television studio in 1985. Küng visited Ireland in April 1985 and was interviewed by RTÉ's Religious Affairs Correspondent Kevin O'Kelly. The interview was televised on 14 May 1985. Hans Küng was ordained a Roman Catholic priest in 1954 and was named a theological consultant for the Second Vatican Council in 1962. He has questioned traditional Roman Catholic doctrine and was censured by the Vatican in 1979. He has written several books on theology. |
