| Description | The set of RTÉ Television's 'Millennium Eve - Celebrate 2000' programme in Studio 4 on 31 December 1999. Presenters Pat Kenny and Liz Bonnin can be seen standing mid shot, holding champagne glasses, as guests assemble behind them joining hands to sing 'Auld Lang Syne'. RTÉ provided 24 hours of continuous television coverage on Millennium Eve, using three studios in Donnybrook together with four outside broadcast units. There were also co-productions with the BBC in London and Northern Ireland. The RTÉ Guide of 17 December 1999 published further details on RTÉ's coverage. | |
