Description   Head and shoulders of German sculptor Imogen Stuart in her studio in Sandymount, Dublin in 2000. She is holding one of her pieces, possibley unfinished, and is looking straight to camera. This still was taken during the filming of RTE television's Religious Affairs programme 'Would You Believe'. It broadcast a special programme on Imogen Stuart on 6 June 2000, with Eleanor Cunney producing.

Imogen Stuart studied under German sculptor Hitzberger before moving to Ireland in 1951. She is best known for such large public sculptures as Pangur Bán, located in UCD, Fiddler of Dooney at Stillorgan Shopping centre, Dublin and religious sculptures such as Monument to John Paul II in Maynooth College.
