Broadcaster Gay Byrne talking to Omagh bomb victim Donna-Marie McGillion, during 'The Late Late Show' special on that atrocity, broadcast on RTE television on 20 November 1998. Donna-Marie is sitting in the front row of the audience. She is wearing a perspex face mask and her hands are bandaged. Byrne is in right profile as he talks to her. This edition of 'The Late Late' was filmed in RTE's Studio 4. 29 people were killed in the 'Real IRA' bombing of Omagh, County Tyrone on 15 August 1998. |
