Irish-American dancers Michael Flatley and Jean Butler, perform 'Riverdance' during the second dress rehearsal for the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest, at Dublin's Point Theatre in April of that year. 'Riverdance' was the interval act for the 1994 contest. A young female dancer can be seen standing in the left background. Michael Flatley subsequently left 'Riverdance' to produce and perform in his own show. Ireland won that year's Eurovision with 'Rock 'n' Roll Kids'. The contest was broadcast live on RTÉ Television on 30 April 1994. |
