RTÉ's former Head of Drama Hilton Edwards (left) presents broadcaster Frank Hall with an award, at the 1966 Jacob's Television Awards in Dublin in December of that year. Frank Hall won the award for his work on the magazine-style current affairs programme 'Newsbeat'. A list of all of the 1966 winners appeared in the RTÉ Guide of 16 December 1966. Hilton Edwards had been Head of Drama at RTÉ between 1961 and 1964. |
