Byrne, Gay (1934 - 2019)
Broadcaster Gay Byrne interviews American actress Mia Farrow, on the set of RTE Television's 'The Late Late Show', in Studio 1 on 25 March 1994. Both are seated behind the studio desk. Byrne is turned away from the camera as he interviews Farrow, who is smiling at him. She is wearing glasses. Farrow was on 'The Late Late' to promote her film 'Widows' Peak', which was written by Hugh Leonard. Byrne also presented this edition of the programme.
Mia Farrow was married to Frank Sinatra (1966-68) and musician Andre Previn (1970-79). She had a long relationship with film director Woody Allen, which ended acrimoniously in 1996 with the discovery of Allen's affair with Farrow's adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn. By 1994 Farrow had 14 children, 9 of them adopted.
