Half-length portrait shot of Irish poet and academic Brendan Kennelly, on the Christmas edition of RTE television's 'The Late Late Show', in Studio 1 in 1992. He is seated behind the studio desk and is looking to the left of shot, smiling. A Christmas wreath is partly visible in the foreground. Kennelly read his poem 'A Kerry Christmas' on this recorded edition of 'The Late Late', which was broadcast on Christmas Night, with Gay Byrne presenting and producing. Brendan Kennelly is Professor of Modern Literature at Trinity College Dublin. He has published over 20 books. |
