Armed soldiers can be seen walking towards the sea with their backs to camera. An army land rover is parked nearby. The fishermen had also blockaded Dun Laoghaire, Cork and Rosslare harbours as part of their protest. RTE Television carried reports on the blockades in its news bulletins on 20 and 21 October 1982. | |
