Description |
Irish actors Brendan Cauldwell as Jer and Máire Hastings as Mooney, in a scene from the RTE Television play 'Who, Me?', during filming in Studio 1 in June 1972. Cauldwell is sitting on a hospital bed while Hastings, dressed as a nurse, is smiling down at him. 'Who, Me?', written by Maureen Donegan, was the runner-up in a 1970 RTE drama competition to find new writing talent. It was first broadcast by RTE Television on 3 November 1972 with Shelah Richards producing. Norman Smythe was the script editor. The play was about a man's realisation, while in hospital, that he is an alcoholic. Three stills from this shoot were used to illustrate an RTE Guide column about the play, published on 27 October 1972. |
