Teacher and broadcaster Paddy Crosbie, in an RTÉ radio studio in May 1973. A still from this shoot accompanied an RTÉ Guide article, published on 1 June 1973, about the return of 'School Around to Corner' to RTÉ Radio. The first programme in this series aired on 8 June 1973.

The programme continued until 1966 on RTÉ Television before returning to RTÉ Radio for another year. It was again revived on radio in 1973 and ran on RTÉ Television from 1990-1994.
