Dutch wildlife artist and film-maker Gerrit van Gelderen, in a publicity still for the programme he made for RTÉ Television, 'To the Waters and the Wild', in September 1974. He is sitting at his studio desk, holding up a small snake, which he is drawing. Tubes of paint and brushes can be seen in the foreground. Van Gelderen also collaborated with Eamon de Buitléar on RTÉ Television's wildlife series 'Amuigh faoin Spéir'. |
