A wide high-angle shot of the 2004 RTE People in Need Telethon set, during rehearsals in RTE Television's Studio 4, on 21 May 2004. Programme presenter Gay Byrne is standing in the centre of shot. Members of the production crew are gathered nearby. This shot was taken from the studio gantry; several studio lights can be seen at the top of shot. Generally held every two years, the Telethon is a charity fund-raiser. The 2004 show was broadcast live on 21 May; RTE Guide articles about the event were published on 7 and 14 May 2004. |
