Description |
A LUAS tram on the platform at Dundrum station, County Dublin on 17 August 2004. The William Dargan Bridge can be seen in the background. This shot was taken from the platform at Dundrum station. The tram is heading towards Sandyford. LUAS (the Irish word for speed) is Dublin's public transport tram system. It runs on two separate tramlines, the Green Line and the Red Line. The Green Line (which opened on 30 June 2004) connects Sandyford to St Stephen's Green in the city centre. The Red Line (which opened on 28 September 2004) connects Tallaght to Connolly Station. Dundrum is on the Green Line. |
