The presenters of RTÉ Television's young people's programme 'Echo Island', in a publicity shot taken in the RTÉ Stills Studio in August 1998. The female presenters sitting in the front row are, from left to right; Cristín Ní Chairealláin, Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh and Sinéad Chaomhánach. Standing behind them are male presenters Tom Ó Brannagáin and Pádraic Ó Neachtain. The RTÉ staff magazine 'Access' published a brief article about the show on 1 October 1998. 'Echo Island' was broadcast five evenings a week on Network 2 (now RTÉ Two). |
