Irish actors Tom Jordan (left, as John Wilson) and Séamus Forde as Charlie Gallagher, in a scene from the RTÉ Television play 'Payoff', during filming in March 1980. Forde was a member of the RTÉ Players at the time this picture was taken. In 'Payoff', written by Kevin Grattan, Forde played an insurance clerk retiring after forty years. It was broadcast on RTÉ Television as part of the 'Thursday Play Date' series on 6 November 1980. Stills from this shoot were used to illustrate the accompanying RTÉ Guide article published on 31 October 1980. |
