Singer Red Hurley performs during the recording of RTÉ Television's 'Star Time', in Studio 1 in July 1978. An orchestra is partly visible behind him. 'Star Time' was a light entertainment series featuring musicians and singers, produced by Ian McGarry. Three programmes in the series featured Red Hurley - they were broadcast from 13 October 1978. The RTÉ Guide of 6 October 1978 published an article about the series. 'Star Time' ran for a second series in 1979. |
