An unidentified contestant (possibly Shaun Connors?) competes in the weightlifting event during 'The Superstars' athletics competition, at UCD's Belfield sports campus in 1980. A celebrity version of this event was televised by RTÉ on 7 February 1980, in which Connors participated. Superstars involves sportspeople from different disciplines competing against one another in a variety of events. |
