RTÉ broadcaster Larry Gogan, at a desk in the RTÉ Guide office piled with entries to a Johnny Logan Guide competition, in May 1980. The RTÉ Guide of 13 June 1980 gave the names of the competition winners, who received signed copies of Johnny Logan's single. Larry Gogan has worked in Irish radio since the 1960s and played the first record heard on RTÉ Radio 2. He currently presents an afternoon show on RTÉ 2fm. |
