A scene from 'Fear of the Dark', part of the 'When Reason Sleeps' series of dramas, during filming in Greystones, County Wicklow in October 1986. The scene is taking place in a snooker hall. From left to right; Owen O'Gorman as Dinny, Aisling Toibin as Dolores and Donal O'Kelly as Fintan. 'When Reason Sleeps' consisted of four stories with supernatural overtones. It was an RTÉ/Strongbow Production in association with Channel 4. 'Fear of the Dark' was written by Robert Wynne-Simmons. It was first broadcast by RTÉ Television on 26 April 1987; the accompanying RTÉ Guide article was published on 24 April 1987. |
