The programme being filmed was 'Ireland: A Television History', an RTÉ/BBC co-production broadcast in 13 parts from 2 December 1980. The RTÉ Guide previewed the series on 28 November 1980. In addition to presenting the series Kee wrote the accompanying book, 'Ireland: A History'. | |
