Description
A view of the Four Alls pub at Sam's Cross near Clonakilty town, County Cork on 4 June 1967. It was once run by Jeremiah Collins, a cousin of Irish revolutionary leader Michael Collins. This shot was taken for RTÉ reference purposes, during a shoot which included nearby Skibbereen town. RTÉ Television and Radio broadcast several programmes in 1967 to mark the centenary of the Fenian Rising. Prominent Fenian leader Jeremiah O'Donovan Rossa was a shopkeeper in Skibbereen.
