Irish fiddle player John Kelly performs with the nine-strong group Ceoltóirí Laighean, on the RTÉ Television traditional Irish music programme, 'Meitheal', during programme recording before a live audience at Clonliffe College, Dublin, in March 1973. The first episode in this series of 'Meitheal' was broadcast on 24 February 1973; this shot was taken during recording of a special St Patrick's Day edition of the programme broadcast on 17 March 1973. It was previewed in the RTÉ Guide on 16 March 1973. |
