Broadcaster Ian Dempsey photographed at the microphone in an RTÉ Radio Centre studio in April 1980. He was a presenter with RTÉ Radio 2 (now RTÉ 2fm) at the time. A vinyl copy of David Bowie's 'Station to Station' is on the desk. Ian Dempsey joined RTÉ Radio 2 as a DJ in 1980 and also presented the RTÉ children's television programme 'Dempsey's Den'. He left RTÉ in 1998 to join Today FM. |
