Bill Boyle as Tommie Talton (left) and Brendan Conroy as Archie, in a scene from the RTÉ Television drama series 'Sean' during filming in Studio 1 in February 1980. This scene is probably from Episode 3 or 4, which were broadcast on 21 and 28 December 1980. 'Sean' was a 13-part drama series based on the autobiographies of Irish writer Sean O'Casey. It was devised by Michael Voysey and written by Voysey, Neil Hartnett and Eugene McCabe. The first programme was broadcast on 7 December 1980 as part of 'The Sunday Series'. The RTÉ Guide of 5 December 1980 featured a two-page article on 'Sean'. |
