Irish folk/traditional musicians Tony Allen (left) and Mick Foster, popularly known as Foster and Allen, on stage at Dublin's National Stadium in September 1983. Eamonn Campbell from The Dubliners is in the right background, playing mandolin. This concert was recorded and televised as part of RTÉ Television's 'Festival Folk' series on 1 February 1984. 'Festival Folk' broadcast a series of concerts from the National Stadium featuring well-known folk singers and musicians. The first episode in this series was broadcast on 11 January 1984 with the RTÉ Guide publishing a preview on 6 January 1984. |
