Two copies of the Roman Catholic magazine 'Irish Messenger of the Sacred Heart', one from May 1965 and the other from January 1967, photographed for RTÉ Television's religious affairs series 'Word in Action' in the Catholic Central Library on Dublin's Merrion Square in 1967. 'Word in Action' was a series comprised of twelve-minute programmes, focusing on how people proclaimed the Christian message. It was broadcast on Sunday evenings, just after the 6pm news bulletin. A programme on religious periodicals was broadcast on 19 February 1967. |
