Cathal Goan, then Ceannasaí or Head of Teilifís na Gaeilge (TnaG, now TG4), photographed in the Brandon Hotel in Tralee, County Kerry, during the Celtic Film and Television Festival on 4 April 1998. He later became Director-General of RTÉ. Teilifís na Gaeilge, Ireland's Irish language television station, was officially launched on 31 October 1996. Articles on the 1998 Celtic Film and Television Festival, held from 1-4 April that year, were published in the RTÉ staff magazine 'Access' on 9 April and 7 May 1998. |
