Broadcaster Gay Byrne and RTÉ Radio producer Ann Walsh, in a dressing room backstage as they prepare for the 'Messiah for Somalia' concert organised by RTÉ Radio 1's 'The Gay Byrne Show', in Dublin's Point Depot on 27 September 1992. This concert raised over £250,000 for famine relief in Somalia. It was recorded by RTÉ Radio; an edited version was broadcast on 28 September 1992. A report on this event appeared in the RTÉ staff magazine 'Access' on 22 October 1992. |
