Sandie Jones, Ireland's representative in the 1972 Eurovision Song Contest, climbs into the coach which took her to the venue in Edinburgh, Scotland, on 25 March that year. She came 16th out of 18 contestants with 'Ceol an Ghrá'. RTÉ Television broadcast the contest live. The RTÉ Guide published articles about the competition on 24 and 31 March 1972. |
