Eilis McDermott from Queen's University Belfast participates in a debate between students from Queen's and University College Galway, recorded for the RTÉ Television intervarsity debate competition 'That This House' in St Patrick's College, Maynooth, County Kildare, in late 1971. The motion was 'That Modern Man Has Outgrown The Need For God'. This edition of the programme aired on 2 February 1972. The first episode in this seven-part series was broadcast on 19 January 1972; the RTÉ Guide preview was published on 14 January 1972. A brief article on the final programme appeared in the RTÉ Guide on 10 March 1972. |
