Description |
An RTÉ camera crew films two young girls, dressed identically, as they walk down an exterior fire escape staircase, during the recording of the RTÉ Television programme 'Dublin Suite' in Dublin city in May 1986. The location is probably the rear of the St Vincent de Paul Night Shelter on Back Lane, but this has not been definitely confirmed. From left to right; cameraman John Cook (1st assistant director on this shoot), cameraman Godfrey Graham (director of this programme), cameraman Joe McKeever (focus puller for this production) and Phil Eustace (production assistant). 'Dublin Suite' was a filmed setting of Robert Lamb's orchestral composition 'Dublin City Suite'. It featured the life of Dublin from morning until evening set to Lamb's music; some actors also participated. 'Dublin Suite' was first broadcast on RTÉ Television on 27 October 1986; the RTÉ Guide published a brief preview on 24 October 1986. |
