Irish historian Kevin B Nowlan, photographed for the RTV (RTÉ) Guide in 1964. He was Associate Professor of Modern History at UCD (University College Dublin) at the time. This shot was taken to publicise the Telefís Éireann (RTÉ Television) religious series, 'People Sometimes Ask', in which a panel of laypeople discussed contemporary church and social issues. It ran from 16 April 1964 to 3 September 1964; Kevin Nowlan chaired the episode broadcast on 28 May 1964. |
