Sandra Kim wins the 31st Eurovision Song Contest for Belgium, in the Grieg Hall in Bergen, Norway, on 3 May 1986. She won the competition with 'J'aime La Vie'. Kim was 13 years old at the time and remains the youngest ever Eurovision winner. From left to right: composer Angelo Crisci, lyricist Rosario Marino, singer Sandra Kim, composer Jean Paul Furnemont and Norwegian Eurovision presenter Åse Kleveland. RTÉ Television and Radio broadcast the contest live; the RTÉ Guide previewed it on 2 May 1986. |
