A view of Killiney Bay in Dublin, August 1985. This shot was taken for use in RTÉ Television's production of Handel's 'Messiah', broadcast on 22 December 1985. This staging of Handel's oratorio was one of a number of productions to celebrate European Music Year and to mark the 300th anniversary of Handel's birth. The production won the Prague D'or Award 1986 in its category for 'best television interpretation of a concert work'. |
