| Description | A view of Irish actor Bill Golding as Thomas Moore and singer Joan Merrigan as Bessy Moore, in a scene from the RTÉ Television drama-documentary 'Let Erin Remember', during filming in 1979. The location is unidentified, but this programme was filmed in Dublin, Wexford, Kilkenny and Wiltshire in October and November 1979. In this shot Golding is playing the piano. 'Let Erin Remember' was about the nineteenth-century Irish poet and composer Thomas Moore. 'Let Erin Remember' was broadcast as part of RTÉ Television's arts series 'Insight', on 31 December 1979. It was written by Maureen Charlton. Several stills from this shoot were used to accompany RTÉ Guide article about Thomas Moore in its edition of 21 December 1979. | |
