| Description | Group shot of participants of 'The Big Clean-Up', an event organised by television programme 'Mooney Goes Wild on One' to clear rubbish from a stretch of the Grand Canal from the 3rd lock at Blackhorse Bridge to the 1st lock at Suir Road, 26 May 2000. The group includes, architect and broadcaster Duncan Stewart, Minister for the Environment Noel Dempsey, broadcaster Derek Mooney, wildlife expert Éanna Ní Lamhna and broadcaster Dr. Richard Collins. They are joined by pupils from Scoil Mhuire Gan Smal in Inchicore and members of the local branch of the Canals Environment Communities Group. | |
