Patricia Sweeney of RTÉ Libraries and Archives is presented with a bouquet of flowers by President of FIAT/IFTA Herbert Hayduck, during the closing gala dinner at the 2010 FIAT/IFTA World Conference and General Assembly, in St Patrick's Hall in Dublin Castle on 18 October 2010. Bríd Dooley, Head of Library and Archive Services at RTÉ Television, is on the right. This conference on the theme of 'Making it Real - Keeping it Real' ran from 15-18 October 2010. Fédération Internationale des Archives de Télévision/The International Federation of Television Archives (FIAT/IFTA) was founded in 1977. It promotes co-operation amongst television archives, multimedia and audiovisual archives and libraries. |
