The article publicised the history and attractions of the War Memorial Gardens at Islandbridge, as described by RTÉ Guide journalist Lorna Hogg. The War Memorial Gardens at Islandbridge were designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and opened in 1939. The gardens were restored by the Office of Public Works in 1988. |
