Irish actors Cathy Belton and Diarmuid de Faoite in a scene from 'A House in Jerusalem', during filming in 1995. A photo from this shoot was published in an article in the RTÉ Guide on 14 April 1995. The article publicised the broadcast of 'A House in Jerusalem', which featured 56 seven-minute episodes based on the New Testament, with cartoon Bible stories and lines featuring Belton and de Faoite. This series, which was aimed at young people, featured the two main characters reading gospel stories from a mysterious book they find in a place of shelter; animations of the stories came from Austrian television while playwright Joe O'Donnell wrote the Irish scripts for RTÉ. The first episode was broadcast on 16 April 1995. |
